#ThanksBaby for making me a better man.

#ThanksBaby for making me a better man.

As a dad I am thankful for the ability to bring life into this world foremost, so many men and women around the world simply can’t create life and that in itself is a blessing. I am thankful that my children are able to experience the wonderful journey we call life. My son is 8 years old and my daughter is 6 weeks old. The love that I saw in my sons eyes for his baby sister was such an emotional moment for me. He was overjoyed just looking at her, every moment he spends with her is priceless for him. Being that they are two vastly different stages in life, I am able to experience the total childhood experience in both of my children. My son was born when I was a little younger and a lot more immature. His presence alone forced me to become a better human being in general so that I could set the example that he needed to see as his father. The actual birth of my children is still the highlight of my life. Just to be apart of the life process is a blessing.

I am thankful for the mothers of my children, they are both dynamic women who embody everything that is needed from a mother and more. I am forever humbled by the gifts that they have bestowed upon my life.

Toddler & Daddy Bake A Cake

2-year-old Amalah and I have NEVER individually or collaboratively baked a cake in our lives. A few weeks ago, we asked our online family on Facebook and Twitter what they'd like to see us cook. The majority said "BAKE A CAKE", so...we baked a cake.
